The Arizona Honeybee Festival is Happening, Are YOU in?

The world has been on pause for quite a while and we definitely felt that with the cancellation of the November 2020 Arizona Honeybee Festival. We gave it a good try with our Online adventure on November 14, but it still wasn’t the same. Thankfully we did get some great videos that you can watch on our YouTube channel. Unfortunately much of what we did wasn’t recorded so you had to be there, and well… you probably weren’t. Take heart though, because we have put our pedal to the metal and are moving full speed ahead to bring you a Spring Honeybee Festival on March 13, 2021 with all the bells and whistles… and masks. We will have vendors, activities, speakers and displays to help you get your Festival Fix. Yes, we will have health precautions in place so you can feel comfortable bringing your whole healthy family.

But First...

We need your help because we can’t do this alone, and we wouldn’t want to. To be honest, we kind of think the best part of a festival is actually creating and working at the festival. We have so much fun dreaming up the things we are going to do and them implementing them. Even though many of our meetings are video occasions, we still have a blast and want you to join us so you can have fun too.

Right now what we need are Volunteers, Vendors, Speakers and Sponsors.

We have three teams of volunteers: the Planning Team, the Event Day Team, and the PR Team. Check out the Volunteer page for more information and to apply. Click HERE.

One of the best things about the Arizona Honeybee Festival is our awesome vendors. We know it has bee a tough season for many of them with no other festivals or events to set up their booths at, so we really want to pull through for them. If you would like to be a vendor or know of anyone who would, please check out our Vendor page HERE and fill out an application ASAP. We are filling spots now.

As an educational event, our speakers are one of the biggest draws for festival attendees. We have two classrooms with two different themes. One is tailored to beekeepers with classes like How to Deal with Honeybee Pests and Diseases and Introduction to Beekeeping, and the other classroom is tailored to those who just love bees and want to learn more about helping them. In that classroom we offer classes like Gardening for Bees and How to use Bee Products. We have a few speakers lined up, but we still need more. If you would like to be a speaker at our event in March, please fill out a SPEAKER APPLICATION HERE.

In order for us to put on this AWESOME community event we need financial support to help pay for the costs of equipment, insurance, printing, advertising, and materials. Individuals and business who want to help us with these costs are so appreciated. We have a variety of sponsorship packages available to help guide you in ways that you can give and we can, in turn, show everyone how awesome you are for helping us. For more information, please visit our Sponsor page HERE.

The Arizona Honeybee Festival exists to connect beekeepers with our community with the purpose of supporting Arizona Honeybees. Our mission is community-focused, beekeeper-focused, and environment-focused. All of that makes for a better Arizona.

Join us in creating the 4th Annual Arizona Honeybee Festival. We have a place for you.
